Divination and Money Management — Episode 4: The Astrology Analysis

Can astrology tell us anything useful about an investment?

And what happens when we place an unconventional tool alongside conventional financial research—not as a replacement for it, but as an experiment?

In Episode 4 of Divination and Money Management, Michael Shoeman continues an ongoing study inspired in part by Marcus Goodwin’s The Psychic Investor.

Earlier installments narrowed the field to four potential investments using traditional financial information alongside tarot and other forms of divination. This episode adds another layer to the experiment:

✨ Astrology.

Rather than simply asking whether a stock has a “good horoscope,” Michael develops a scoring system using several astrological variables, including:

🌙 The lunar cycle

☀️ The investment season

♈ The Sun sign associated with company information and timing

📅 The day of the week connected with earnings estimates

Each of the four investment candidates receives an astrology score. Those results are then combined with the earlier tarot analysis to see whether patterns begin to emerge as additional methods are added.

The four companies remaining in the experiment are:

📈 NatWest Group

📈 Park Aerospace Corp.

📈 The Chefs’ Warehouse

📈 Edison International

This series isn’t presented as financial advice or as proof that divination can predict the stock market.

It’s an experiment.

Can intuitive practices and conventional financial analysis exist in the same conversation?

Can we test these ideas transparently rather than simply believing—or dismissing—them?

And can an exploration of investing eventually lead us into a much larger conversation about what money is for?

🌱 Coming Next: The Numerology Analysis

The experiment continues as another layer of information is added to the four remaining investments.

Rather than asking divination to tell us what will happen, perhaps the more interesting question is:

What happens when we create a system where intuition, evidence, observation, and curiosity are all allowed into the same room?

Divination and Money Management is presented as an educational and experimental exploration and should not be considered individualized financial advice.
